Bureau of Indian Education
An education initiative to change Lives
Lamar associates was selected to provide education across 185 American Indian Reservations and their onsite schools to inform and educate the teachers and administrators on a wide variety of social and institutional issues that all schools and youth are currently facing though out the United States.
The curriculum is designed to provide an in depth understanding of these issues. Learner surveys and feedback are employed to provide a base line milestone, and comprehension is evaluated through 'before and after' assessments. All together there are 7 courses, each containing up to 7 modules. Each of the 185 locations could have up to 50 educators logging on to view the courses. Faced with delivering so much training, as well as reporting required, Lamar turned to Coggno as a platform that would best serve their community of users. The intuitive interface made the leaner experience a simple one, and facilitated an enriching learning experience.
Varying levels of IT infrastructure also meant, that with the localized systems needing to used to deliver the training, there could be no need of additional costs of systems and administration.
Altogether, delivering complicated training, and making it accessible made Coggno the perfect fit for Lamar Associates, and the Bureau of Indian Education.
