Courseware System Studies in the Passenger Seat

November 14th, 2008 by Robin Green

Courseware System Studies in the Passenger Seat Do you have slight panic attacks encountering drivers who are totally focused on their iPods or cell phones? Well, now we have one more reason to fear for our lives as we brave the streets.

Walt Mossberg reports that wi-fi will soon by available in your car. Autonet Mobile has partnered with Chrysler and other companies to make it happen. Feel like doing some courseware system homework as your husband drives? No problem. The system works through a special wireless router, mounted in the trunk or rear cargo space, that draws the internet from cellphone towers and then converts it into an in-car wi-fi signal with a range of 100 feet.

Now, many courseware system users may already use cellular data cards, iPhones or BlackBerries. So how would courseware system users benefit from Autonet? Well, the connection is steadier, cheaper, and allows multiple users.

Your Courseware System and a Frothy Cup of Joe

November 14th, 2008 by Robin Green

Your Courseware System and a Frothy Cup of JoeIf you’re a student using an online courseware system, you may not want to limit your study space to your office or den. You might enjoy sitting in a Starbucks with your laptop and inhaling chai tea lattes while poring over your courseware system homework.

Although you shouldn’t expect all internet access to be free, you can expect some coffee shops, hotels and other businesses to offer both paid and free options. Many businesses are adopting wi-fi compromises, offering free services for something in return, like signing up for a loyalty program. Whereas before in Starbucks, for example, customers had to pay for internet service, now it provides two hours a day of free wi-fi to Starbucks card holders, and unlimited access to AT&T’s broadband customers and Starbucks employees. But if you’re not eligible for any of those, plan on dishing out $3.99 to accompany your courseware system material with a caramel hot chocolate.

Taking Your Courseware System On Vacation

November 13th, 2008 by Robin Green

Taking Your Courseware System On VacationHave you been itching to take a vacation? One advantage that courseware systems have over traditional classrooms is absolute portability. You can be anywhere in the world and still access your courseware system, read course material, and study for tests. Travelers are increasingly able to study from the comfort of hotel rooms and lounges, cafés and airports.

However, there’s one glitch in the internet-prolific world. Imagine a hotel with 1,000 rooms. One day there are 50 people talking on Skype, another 100 using their courseware systems, and another 200 people checking their email and LinkedIn accounts.

As more and more visitors come prepared with laptops, they also use greater amounts of bandwidth. And while travelers tend to want free internet access, hotels, airports and coffee shops are faced with the problem of paying for their wi-fi networks.

Courseware System Biases

November 4th, 2008 by Robin Green

Courseware System BiasesEven though many online courseware systems are used without guidance from an individual educator, bias can certainly still find its way into the learning content. Make sure if you’re uploading your courseware system to or choosing courses from an online course syndicator, that the provider has taken measures to prevent that from happening.

Coggno is a courseware syndicator whose policy strictly prohibits deceptive, misleading or fraudulent material. The policy also forbids any content promoting racism, ethnic offense, bigotry or hatred against any group or individual.  Syndicators that retain the power to reject any offensive or inappropriate material will help you avoid subtly interjected biases of courseware system authors.

Looking for a trusted syndicator for your online courseware? From now until November 15, take advantage of Coggno’s exciting promotion. We’ll migrate your learning content for you, absolutely free of charge.

Courseware System Objectivity

November 4th, 2008 by Robin Green

Courseware System Objectivity Wouldn’t you prefer straight and objective learning material, unshaped and unfiltered by a professor’s personal views? Of course, it’s impossible to achieve 100% objectivity. And good professors foster discussions and reward well-developed arguments, no matter how different their perspectives may be. However, there are always the exceptions who can’t help but let their own biases color their opinions (and grading) of students.

One advantage many courseware systems have over traditional higher learning system courses is that they avoid professor bias. Students can learn and complete courseware system assignments without having to worry whether or not their work is being unfairly assessed by an opinionated professor. When courseware systems are completed in a self-guided fashion, the only authority is the learner. The learning content becomes the only relevant point, and politics are set aside.
