The National Center for Health Statistics reports approximately 71.6% of adults over age 20 are overweight or obese. Studies show that approximately 40-50% of adults are taking multiple drugs and have multiple chronic illnesses. Managing these types of patients and the prevention of medical emergencies is more important than ever. - To identify clinical treatment options associated with common oral health disease in adults with complex medical conditions.
