Billy Merry
Mr. Merry graduated from the University of Paisley, UK with a BSc. degree in Chemistry
Mr. Merry is a >20 year veteran of the semiconductor wafer fabrication industry.
He started his long career at Motorola, Scotland, UK in 1984 where he held various process engineering and device engineering posts before moving on to Seagate Microelectronics in 1992.
In 1994 Mr. Merry moved on to Novellus Systems (semiconductor thin film deposition equipment vendor) where he was the process applications engineer covering the Northern European region.
In 1999 Mr. Merry was offered a management position by Silterra Sdn. Bhd. of Malaysia.
Mr. Merry was a key member of the Silterra start-up team. During his time with Silterra he held various management and senior management positions (Thin Films, Copper Backend Development, Yield).
Mr. Merry lives in Penang, Malaysia.
