Naloxone is a critical tool that can help in the event of an opioid overdose, which can happen anywhere – even in the workplace. In these situations, every minute counts, and knowing how to use it could very well save someone’s life. You might be more familiar with one of naloxone’s brand names: Narcan. There are now several other formulations and brands names, but in this course, we’ll refer to it with the generic drug name, naloxone.
