General & Security Awareness Lite Training for Non-Hazmat Employees
This training is designed for employees who do not directly handle hazardous materials but may encounter them in the workplace. The course provides a foundation and understanding of what hazardous materials are, the potential risks they pose, and the importance of security awareness.
Students will learn to recognize hazardous materials marks and labels; understand the purpose of emergency response information; and identify signs of potential security risks. The training emphasizes employees’ roles in maintaining a safe and secure workplace by following the hazardous materials regulations, recognizing suspicious activity, and knowing the correct actions to take during an emergency.
By the end of the course, employees will be able to:
* Recognize hazardous materials from a general and light awareness perspective.
* Understand basic hazard communication, including hazard labels and alternative marks.
* Identify their role in preventing incidents and maintaining security.
The training is an insightful resource for non-hazmat employees who work in environments where hazardous materials are present.
