Fraud is a widespread yet often misunderstood topic that ensnares many businesses and business people, partly due to ignorance about it. Fraud involves intentional deception to deprive others of something valuable or personally enrich another. Employees need an understanding of how to recognize and prevent fraud, whether it occurs within or by their organization or against it.
This Business Fraud Course covers two types of business fraud: a) occupational fraud, or fraud against one’s employer, and b) general business fraud, or fraud conducted by or against a business in relation to a customer, supplier or another outside party. This course provides an overview of key elements for identifying and responding to potential business fraud.
