Learning how to be more assertive at work helps employees to contribute more to the team. When colleagues are able to communicate clearly to each other about what they need, it strengthens their relationships, allowing them to work together more effectively and increase productivity.

In this course, we’ll look at the techniques people can use to be more assertive.

Firstly, we look at how to improve self-confidence so that the learner feels like what they have to say matters. Then we show them how to use assertive language to make a point clearly and directly.

Next, we look at the importance of body language and eye contact. Finally, we look at how to show respect to others while being assertive.
