Description
Last year anxiety was one of the leading causes of workplace illness.
The good news is that anxiety can be managed. This course helps learners to identify the triggers that cause their anxiety, and tackle the anxiety itself with effective self-talk and lifestyle changes.
It’s normal to feel anxious from time to time. Anxiety is the body’s natural response to a situation which feels a bit threatening. It can help us make sensible choices. For instance, being a bit anxious about a meeting helps you to do the right amount of preparation.
But sometimes we feel more anxious than we need to. When this happens a lot it can make life difficult.
So although we can’t get rid of anxiety altogether, and we don’t need to, it is useful to have some strategies for coping when the anxiety gets too much.
That’s what we’re going to learn on this course.
