Sexual Harassment Prevention Training (CT CHRO Mandate)
Requirements
- 2 hours of interactive sexual harassment prevention training for ALL employees
- Must be completed within 6 months of hire
- Supervisors: within 6 months of assuming a supervisory role
- Refresher: every 10 years; update and redistribute materials as laws change
- Required content: federal/state legal definitions, forms of harassment, remedies, employer obligations, complaint procedures
- Training must be interactive (not just written materials)

Penalties
CHRO complaints and investigations; up to $10,000 per violation; civil suits with unlimited compensatory and punitive damages
