Coggno can now pull your employee directory straight from your HR or payroll system, so new hires land in their required compliance training without anyone uploading a spreadsheet. The HRIS integrations hub is live, with 24 providers included and dedicated setup pages for the first seven.
What does the HRIS integration actually do?
You connect your HR system once. After that, Coggno reads your employee directory and employment data and keeps its own user list current: people who join get accounts, people who change department or location get reassigned, and people who leave stop showing up as overdue. Employee data refreshes every 24 hours, automatically, for all 24 included providers.
The point is not that roster uploads are annoying, although they are. The point is that a roster which is a week stale produces assignment gaps nobody notices until an auditor asks. A new warehouse hire who needs hazard communication training on day one does not get it if payroll knows about them and the training system does not. Closing that gap is the whole job.
Which systems are connected today?
Twenty-four HRIS and payroll providers are included. Seven now have their own setup page with provider-specific steps and answers:
The remaining included providers cover HiBob, QuickBooks Payroll, TriNet, UKG Pro, UKG Ready, Factorial HR, Humaans, Namely, OnPay, Oyster, Personio, Sage HR, Sapling, Sequoia One, Square, Wave and Horizon Payroll. Beyond the included list, Coggno can connect to more than 250 HRIS and payroll systems on request, including Workday, Rippling and Gusto.
What it does not do, so nobody is surprised
Data moves one direction. Coggno reads employee, employment and organization data in, and it does not write training completions back into your HR system. Access is read-only, and you can disconnect it whenever you want.
The refresh is daily, not instant. If someone is hired at 2pm, they appear in Coggno on the next daily sync rather than the same minute. For day-one training assignment that is fine. If you need same-minute provisioning, say so during setup and we will tell you honestly whether this fits.
This is also not SCIM provisioning, and it is a separate thing from Course Dispatch. HRIS sync brings your people into Coggno. Course Dispatch sends Coggno courses out into an LMS you already run. Buyers conflate the two constantly, so it is worth naming: one is people in, the other is content out.
Who this is for
Employers running mandated training across several states or locations, roughly 100 to 5,000 employees, where somebody currently maintains the training roster by hand. If your compliance program lives in a spreadsheet that one person understands, this removes the step that breaks most often.
Coggno pairs the sync with 10,000+ pre-built courses across 25+ compliance categories, so a synced employee can be assigned real OSHA, HIPAA, harassment prevention or cybersecurity training the same day rather than waiting on content licensing. Docebo is an authoring-first enterprise LMS optimized for L&D teams building custom content; Coggno is a marketplace-first platform with pre-built regulatory content available out of the box.
How to turn it on
Open your Coggno account settings and find the integrations tab, or start from your provider’s page above. If you are evaluating rather than connecting, the HRIS sync evaluation checklist covers the questions worth asking any vendor first, including the ones where our answer is no. New accounts get a 14-day free trial with no credit card, and Prime is $5 per user per month with a 10-seat minimum.
