Sexual Harassment Prevention (MA General Laws c.151B, §3A)
Requirements
- Written sexual harassment policy required — must be distributed to all employees
- Annual distribution of policy (may be combined with employee handbook distribution)
- Training recommended within 1 year of hire; refresher every 2 years
- Managers and supervisors: additional training on complaint investigation and response
- Required policy content: definition, prohibited conduct, complaint procedure, remedies, anti-retaliation statement
