A workplace that allows--and even encourages--such conduct cannot promote respect for all employees to obtain their best performance. United States Congress, state legislatures and local lawmakers have all have enacted laws that require most employers to train all employees on sexual harassment prevention and response. All employees need to understand their role in promoting a healthy workplace, preventing sexual harassment and effectively responding to such misconduct when it occurs. This course does not fulfill the specific requirements of any one state, and should not be used as a substitute for state-specific training in a jurisdiction that has a legislative training requirement.
