Campus Safety: Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance of Standpipe and Hose Systems (IACET CEU=0.1) Course

Standpipe systems are installed in buildings to provide the fire department or trained personnel with easy access to a strategically designed network of pipes, valves, hose connections and other equipment in the event of a fire. The inspection, testing, and maintenance procedures for standpipe and hose systems outlined in NFPA 25 are critical to ensure proper function in the event there is an emergency.
