Description
Projects fail differently than routine work — which is why they're managed differently. This course covers the basic principles of project management and builds the skills and techniques to initiate and develop projects successfully in the workplace.
You'll learn to recognise the difference between routine work and project work, use a range of skills and planning methods to prepare and plan a project, contribute to a project's purpose, scope, objectives, timescales and costs, identify the information needed to monitor a project, and write up and present an evaluation of your part in one.
At about 40 minutes, it's a solid first course for employees stepping into project work for the first time.
