Civility Course

Civility serves as a reminder that when we speak, whether written or verbal, we speak to people who may or may not think like us and therefore we must be respectful; it focuses the employees on communicating goodwill by the way we treat and react to others. 

This course defines what civility is and what it means to be a civil human being. It reaches out to employees with activities and discussions about behaviors, shows how the company may be negatively affected by dramatic costs and pressures incurred with uncivil behaviors, and builds an awareness of incivility influences and countermeasures. It tackles the actual limits of free speech and one small universally accepted rule that abides at civility’s core.
