Alcohol Server Education (Mandatory)
Requirements
- New Mexico mandates state-approved alcohol server education for anyone who sells, serves, or dispenses alcoholic beverages
- Training must be completed shortly after hire (commonly within 30 days) before serving alcohol
- Covers checking IDs, recognizing intoxication, refusing service to minors and intoxicated patrons, and dram-shop liability
