Description
Nail guns are essential tools on construction sites. Nail guns' speed and power make
them appealing and efficient tools, but these very traits lead to many injuries every year.
In fact, some experts estimate that nail guns cause more injuries than any other tool.
OSHA reports that 2 out of 5 residential carpenter apprentices experienced a nail gun
injury over a four-year period. Many of these injuries, while painful, were relatively minor.
However, it's not uncommon for nail gun injuries to result in serious injury and even
death. In this course, we'll discuss how to avoid these types of injuries by covering OSHA's
six steps to increasing nail gun safety.
