Description
Sexual harassment remains one of the most common and most costly workplace compliance failures, and prevention depends on every employee knowing what to look for and what to do. This 60-minute interactive module gives employees a practical, plain-language grounding in workplace sexual harassment prevention under U.S. federal law, including Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and EEOC guidance.
Learners work through the behaviors that can constitute harassment across verbal, non-verbal, physical, and digital channels, and learn to distinguish harassment from ordinary workplace friction or performance management. The course covers the recognized legal categories of harassment, protected characteristics under federal law, and how expectations carry over into remote, hybrid, and online work settings.
A dedicated section walks through reporting: when to raise a concern, which channels to use, what happens after a report is made, how confidentiality is handled, and why retaliation is prohibited. The final section focuses on the everyday habits that build a respectful workplace, including bystander intervention options and supporting colleagues who raise concerns.
The module uses fictional workplace scenarios, drag-and-drop and sorting activities, a pre-assessment, knowledge checks throughout, and a 10-question final assessment. Content is educational and does not constitute legal advice.
Developed for nationwide use, this course is appropriate for employees across all 50 U.S. states and territories.
