Drug-Free Compliance: Employee (DFWP Essentials)

I enjoyed the course but felt as though it was a lot of information that I am aware of. I wish there was a pre-quiz that is taken at the beginning before the information is given and then a post information test in order to gauge the level of information that someone already has and then afterwards to see if it raises their score contributing to someone's growth in knowledge when taking the course.

I think drug free testing at work has helped make prescription drug use the problem it is.

As a person who has been working for over 40 years and grew up with an alcoholic father I feel as if I wasted an hour of my life going over the same gibberish I was taught in junior high school health class. People are different and are affected by things differently. In my life I have known people who are alcoholics and most of their peers have no clue. I have known people who have a drug addiction and still outperform their co-workers exponentially. So your "class" is a generalization that does not reflect reality, just as it was in junior high school health.

It was informative and easy to follow. Learned important information from it.

I feel the videos need updated with more recent statistics on drug and alcohol use in the country.

Do the people that do not work have to take this education to get free money from the government ?

The only complaint I have is that on some of the quizzes there was no feedback on incorrect answers....as in the questions that had you rank several choices for correctness. I think it is valuable for people to be able to know what the correct responses would be. Thank you! Laurie

It was annoying to continually have to hit Next at the bottom of the page to continue to the next thought. Don't know what the alternative is.

Excellent course

As someone who has been sober for a few years and went through recovery programs, you may want to scale back on the images of drinks, pills, and other drugs. If you’re trying to tell people it’s not a good idea to smoke weed and you want to have a drug free work place, you shouldn’t show a video of someone lighting up a bowl. That can be a huge trigger to someone trying to abstain from weed. Some of the info is dated too, you most definitely will test positive for prescription medication even if you’re taking it according to your doctors recommendations.

Once I was told how and where to got started, it was fairly easy till I got to the 1st question choice of 3 out of the 4 boxes of true statements, it would not let me submit, on my phone after going out and starting over like 3 times. I used the computer, which let me continue on through several steps, then a box popped up in the way, couldn't get rid of it. So went to another phone logged in, luckily it let me continue on, for several more steps. Then it again would not let me continue again. So I went back to the computer and logged out and back in it also ler me continue again. Finally finished! And got certicate. All total I spent over 4 hrs.

The information was good but seemed incomplete and outdated. Drug use and subsequent abuse has become more common. Many types of drugs and what to watch for were not listed. A better section on misguided apathy, varying attitudes, widespread acceptance, and the real harm that comes from drug use / abuse would be helpful.

Pretty much what you would expect from a on line course. Since drugs are becoming more common in the work place this is a good program just to make people reflect on their personal habits that could potentially effect or harm a coworker.

This stuff is so outdated. The numbers are all wrong, and the points you are trying to make are wrong. no one has mentioned that if you do crack or heroine it leaves your system within 3-5 days. It did give me a nice giggle.

The information seems quite outdated. They referenced "today's" statistics; however, this must be at least 10 years old. The information was good -- just outdated.

My staff and I have been taking the same courses for several years. I find the information to be outdated and a lack of person first language. Please update these, and have you ever considered getting these approved with prevention hours so individuals can get hours as they learn. Thank you :-)

This is the same script, information and tests used for the three years we've had to take it. It should be updated with new pictures of the staff and their quotes. The addiction data referenced for some of the chapters goes back to 2011, I would assume there has been some update to usage and addiction rates in the past 12 years. I have found the course useful and informative overall.

Worthwhile, good info. Nice to stay informed.
