Introduction to Valves Basic Course (Course)

I have a passion for learning and a passion for teaching. My main focus is engineering and I have 17 years experience in this area. As a marine engineer, I worked on container ships, private super yachts and even had my own planned maintenance company for two years. 

After leaving the maritime industry, I worked for a risk insurance company inspecting heavy industrial sites, this included platinum mines, hydroelectric plants, coal fired plants (including the largest coal fired plant in Europe), chocolate factories, oil seed plants, biodiesel plants, steel rolling plants and the worlds largest aluminium rolling plant...to name a few industries. I was fortunate that my work took me all over the world and I had the opportunity to view many interesting and exciting things.  

During these hectic years, I also learnt German and obtained my BEng Hons degree from the Open University.  

 That brings us to present day. I started saVRee because I wanted to make it easier for people to learn about engineering and I wanted to share what I had learnt during my career. I use saVRee extensively in my videos to enhance the learning experience and to aid understanding. The videos from saVRee are posted here, I hope you find them useful!
